"Sure, lotsa things have happened around here. Course, most of it is just urban legends and stories to tell your kids so they don't go out at night. But the one that remains in everyone's minds here is the story of Mikey Afton. People try to act like it's all just a myth, but you can ask the older folks who live here about it. They watched the poor boy turn into a monster. Never in my life did I ever see a human turn as purple as that. Then, one day, out of the blue, he just upped and...well, upchucked. Not sure what the thing that came out of him was, but it had a lot of eyes and cables. Mikey's story is burnt into our brains for the rest of our lives."
